“Delete” is a bad word in Database-Land. Instead of deleting data, we change the status to one that best suits the current situation of the member. In many cases, these former members may come back, and retaining their information is beneficial in helping them become active again. For members who pass away, we have created a status of “Deceased.” Instead of removing these former members, we felt it is best to honor their memory while also respecting the feelings of their loved ones and friends.
